Volkswagen Teams Up With Apple on iBeetle

The Volkswagen iBeetle might not be the Apple iCar you've been dreaming of, but it's one step closer.

The German car manufacturer announced on Monday at the Shanghai Auto Show it's partnering with Apple for the launch of the iBeetle Coup and iBeetle Convertible, two vehicles which fully integrate with the iPhone

But before you get too excited, the two main components are an iPhone docking station within the iBeetle — allowing drivers to make hands-free calls, listen to music and so on — and an accompanying app... not exactly groundbreaking integration.
