Google Plans First Expansion of Same-Day Delivery Service

Two months ago, Google entered the same-day delivery business with a pilot program for a service called Google Shopping Express, which many billed as an attempt to compete with the likes of eBay Now and Amazon Prime. Now, Google plans to expand availability of its service for the first time since launch.

A source familiar with Google's plans told Mashable that Google Shopping Express is about to roll out to the entire Bay Area, filling in many of the suburban areas outside San Francisco that Google initially left out at launch. Google will start accepting sign-ups for beta testers in the additional neighborhoods later this week or early next week. Read more...
